With more than 1,000 projects under its belt, in 5 out of the 9 provinces in South Africa since inception, Inkosi Inathi Building Projects is fast becoming one of the country’s premiere construction companies. With a proud and distinguished history of almost a decade, we have evolved into a more than just another construction company, but one that is rapidly growing and venturing into other markets and infrastructure development.
Since becoming an independent company in 2004, Inkosi Inathi Building Projects has expanded on its position in the growing end-markets it serves. We offer a wide range of services through two business units: Rental & Leasing and Development. Our foundation for the future is based on our continued success within these markets.
Even as we continue to grow throughout the country, Inkosi Inathi has developed and executed many ground-breaking solutions for complex projects countrywide. We pride ourselves from walking with the client from project inception to completion, allowing clients to make suggestions to satisfy their tastes and preferences, especially on the finishing side of the project.
With governments drive to provide housing for all, the demand for our expertise is becoming more relevant, Inkosi Inathi Building Projects understands the housing and development market and our ability to deliver value has made us one of the fastest-growing companies. Inkosi Inathi’s history goes back to the days before the infamous financial crisis in 2008. In 2003, Sipho Nkosi resigned his position as a Sales Executive from RBA where he had worked for 5 years. Nkosi’s passion and vision led him to set up what would become Inkosi Inathi Building Projects.
Many of Johannesburg’s regeneration building structures are the foundation for the success that Inkosi Inathi has produced. The company started building through subcontracting work, but quickly expanded into other areas. In 2008, Inkosi Inathi received its first government contract, to build the Zachariah Community Hall; a year later, the company was awarded a contract to build the first of what would become a total of 420 houses at Roodokop (
Ext 11), known as Leondale Gardens.
Inkosi Inathi Building Projects set its sights on cementing its position as a leading construction company along some industry greats.
In 2011, Inkosi Inathi Building Projects reached a major milestone as it completed its 1000th project since inception. Today, Inkosi Inathi employs a team of highly trained professionals and continues to recruit and develop the finest in the industry. This drive will help strengthen the company’s structural engineering capabilities as it looks to expand into other sectors as well.
As Inkosi Inathi Building Projects makes its way through its second decade in business, it can look back upon a solid foundation as it strives for future success.
